Pedernales Falls

For Presidents Day, we decided to take a short day trip around Texas Hill Country. We first went to Pedernales Falls State Park. Amasa had been there before with the scouts, but it was a first for the kids and me. It was really beautiful but pretty cold so we only stayed and hiked around for about 1/2 an hour. After, we went and had lunch in Fredericksburg at a yummy German restaurant and walked around and checked out the shops downtown. It was a very good day!

    oh nice. Looks like a really pretty place. I forget that there are such places in Texas, haha. We'll have to go out there sometime.

    Very pretty place. Are the falls on the Pedernales River or does it have another name?
