Happy Valentine's Day!!

Well, on this Valentine's Day, Amasa is out of town at a TOA (Texas Optometric Association) conference in Austin. He left this morning (with an upper respiratory infection). We will definitely miss him.

Aelia, Malachi, and I are going to go out to lunch with a friend and then babysit tonight. I figure I'll let other people have a date since I don't get one!!

Malachi started a dance/tumbling class last night. He really likes it. He graduated from physical therapy so we put him in the program to continue working on balance. So far so good!

Home Improvement and Amasa's Birthday

Ok, so I can't figure out how to put text above the first picture so be patient with me! I'll figure it all out!

We celebrated Amasa's 29th birthday on January 26. We had a chocolate cake with 29 candles! Talk about flames!! HAHA! I started taking pictures and Malachi just wanted to make face so that he could see them in the picture afterwards!

Amasa received a new laptop with case, a movie, and some camping stuff from his mom.
Aelia LOVED the cake. She is my good eater. Malachi wouldn't touch it!

Since we bought our house we have slowly been doing upgrades and improvements. Here are some of our more recent. A few weeks ago we came home to find water all over out floor...again (this is the 3rd time we have flooded). Luckily since we have tile this time it didn't ruin the floors like it did the previous two times. Anyways, we ended up having to get a new fridge. I also got a new couch cover since the couch is getting more and more faded. And our third is we got new carpet for the upstairs. HOORAY!!!
